Mozella E. Hamilton

HAMILTON ~ Mozella Hamilton was born December 29, 1958 in Woodbine, Georgia to Katie Lee Haywood Fields and the late Landon Fields.  She attended Duval County Public Schools, graduating from Ribault Senior High School, class of 1977.

Mozella met and married Lonnie B. Hamilton December 10, 1977 and this union was blessed with sons, David, Lonnie Jr., & Randy Hamilton and Robert Wilson.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family; she was nurturing and giving, touching the lives of many family and friends. Mozella also enjoying cooking, sitting outside in the fresh breeze and riding, even if it was around the block.

She was preceded in death by her father; son, Robert Deon Wilson.  Mozella leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, Lonnie Hamilton; sons, David, Lonnie Jr., & Randy; nine grandchildren, Lonnett, Rondejia, Kenndi, Randy, Autumn, Randy, Lonneisha, Titus, Benjamine; siblings, Floria (Willie) Doster, Laura (Keith) Jones, John D. Fields, Shawnee (Cleo) Sanders; daughter-in-law, Pearl Johnson Wilson; brothers-in-law, Roger (Gwen) King, Eddie (Sheila), David (Rosemary), Earl, Anthony & Perry Robinson; sisters-in-law, Maude Wynn, Betty & Barbara Robinson, Deloris & Connie Hamilton; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Mozella E. Hamilton will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Greater Harvest Christian Fellowship, 9113 Ridge Boulevard, Pastor Johnny Legons; Rev. Michael H. L. Roberson, Sr., Officiating.  Family will receive friends FRIDAY from 5-7 PM at THE SOUTEL CHAPEL.  Interment at Edgewood Cemetery.  Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
