ELLIOTT, SR. ~ Kenneth "Kenny" Moultrie Elliott, Sr. was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Beatrice Elliott. He was educated in Duval County public school system ~ Isaiah Blocker and graduating from New Stanton Senior High School, class of 1969. After graduation, Kenneth attended Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, Florida where he was a member of the “Marching 100” band.
Kenneth was employed with Fruit Growers Express/CSX, Edgewood Cemetery and Revlon. He enjoyed fishing, entertaining his grandchildren and watching football; he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan.
He is preceded in death by his father & mother, Robert & Beatrice Elliott, Sr.; brother, Eleazer Elliott. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Javan Wilkes Elliott; sons, Kenneth M. Elliott, Jr., Nathan E. Toson (Shailon), Kenneth C. Elliott, Sr.; daughter, Johnnetta Cooper; grandchildren, Kenneth C. Jr., Khoury, Javonathan, Jannard, TanJinay, Nathan Jr., AleJandria, Tatyana; great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Tyago; sister, Melonese Elliott; father-in-law, Nathaniel Fann; brother-in-law, Leenard Wilkes; sisters-in-law, Esther Wilkes, Angelina Williams; special cousins, Earl & Pat Sims; dearest friends, Dwight Thompson, Joe Madison, Kimball Pierce, Karen Wigley, his Revlon Family; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life Service for Kenneth "Kenny" Moultrie Elliott will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Zion Hope Baptist Church, 2803 Edgewood Avenue West, Rev. Stephen Kohn, Officiating. Family will receive friends at The Soutel Chapel Friday from 5 - 7 PM. Interment at Edgewood Cemetery. Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
