JACKSON ~ Hazle Jackson, Jr. was born June 30, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to Hazle and Roberta Jackson. He was educated in local schools and was a graduate of the class of 1960 from Matthew Gilbert.
Hazle served in the U.S. Army and retired as a foreman from Owens Corning Roofing Plant. He was an avid Jaguar fan and faithful member of the Bethel Church until his health failed.
Hazle was preceded in death by his parents; son, Torien; and brother, Calvin. Cherishing his loving memory, son and daughter in law, Eric and Latonia Jackson; grandchildren, Ariyel, Jordan, Edward, Christian and Kendall; siblings, Barbara Clay, Joan Jackson, Earl Jackson and Elaine Jackson; special friend, Brenda Albertie; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Hazle Jackson, Jr. will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, 215 Bethel Baptist Street, Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr., Lead Pastor; Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Sr., Pastor Emeritus. Family will receive friends Friday at The Soutel Chapel from 5 – 7 PM. Interment 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Because of the love of his family arrangements entrusted to J. E.
