Derrius is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Biggins, Betty Tillman, Earl Mills, Robert & Patricia Berrian; great grandmother, Carrie Gibbs; aunt, Joan Johnson. 

On April 14, 2019, God took His angel from among us, but has left us with precious memories that will always be cherished by his mother, Cynthia (Anthony) Jackson; father, Willie C. (Kertina) Biggins; daughter, Derriona Jones; siblings, Xenovia (Kenneth) Gaskin, Ezell (Julinda) McKenzie, Alexis Gaskin, Terorius Gaskin, Jameshia Biggins, Jamarious Rolax, Kevin Moore, Donovan Moore, Kourtney (Sedric) McRae, Tanesha Biggins, Santanna; special aunts, Elaine Biggins & Kathy (Martin) Williams; uncles and aunts, Hermetta Berrian, Robet & Lindsey Berrian, Jessica Mills, Anthony (Mel) Biggins, Charles, George, Quincy (Keia), Wallace & Audrey Mills; special cousins, Tiffany Paulk, James Moore, Boss Hogan; Antionette Hatten, Sandria Biggins; best friends, Alvin McCormick, Starlett Canady, Kia Stubbs, Latricia Biggins; many extended family and friends.

Celebration of Life for Derrius Kinte Gaskin will be 11:00 AM Saturday April 20, 2019 at Faust Temple Church Of God In Christ, 3328 Moncrief Road, Dr. Clarence Jones, Sr., Pastor.  Family will receive friends Friday at The Soutel Chapel from 5 – 7 PM.  Interment at Edgewood Cemetery.  Because of the love of his family arrangements entrusted to J.
