SINGLETARY ~ Cynthia Yvette Singletary was born to James and Amanda Thompson, January 31, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended Duval County Public Schools receiving her diploma from Stanton Senior High School. Cynthia was employed with Pittman and Company.
Cynthia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. With the love and support of her family, she devoted her final days to spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Cynthia entered into eternal rest June 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Thompson; and son, Ricky Singletary, Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her fiancé, Monroe Adams, Sr.; father, James Thompson; children, Rodriqus Singletary, Rashika Singletary and Whitney Priester; grandchildren, Zaria Daniels, Ricky Singletary III, Za’Vion Daniels, Niko Rodney, Jr., Andre Flowers, Jr., Ni’Kole Rodney, Rodriqus Singletary, Jr., A’miyah Flowers, Ra’Niyah Singletary, and Blesson Montgomery; siblings, John Curtis (Denise) Lundy, Sr., Austin (Jasmine) Lundy, Marie Lundy, Robbie (Buford, Sr.) Adams, Wanda Lundy, Debra Thompson, and Stephanie (Jamie) Usher; aunts, Mamie Hayes and Dorothy (James, Sr.) Counts of Augusta, Georgia; a host of nephews, nieces; godson, Frank Campbell; god-granddaughters, Brianita Williams, and Taurisha Kelsey; extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life Service for Cynthia Yvette Singletary will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 11046 Harts Road, Rev. Michael Jackson, Pastor. Family will receive friends FRIDAY from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel. Interment at Restlawn Memorial Park. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
