Clemon Donley

DONLEY ~ Mr. Clemon Donley was born August 15, 1932 in Hilliard, Florida to the late James and Beulah Donley.  He was raised with his six siblings, Willie, David, Mary, Bernice, Jimmie and Johnny.  Clemon attended local schools in Nassau County. 

He was a member of Hisbon Baptist Church where he served with the Usher Ministry.  Clemon worked for Vanzant Logging Company as a truck driver for many years.  He also served his country in the United States Army.

Clemon was joined in marriage to the late Hilda Jean Donley.  He peacefully slept away May 9, 2018 and leaves to cherish his memory children, Clemon Donley, Jr. of Gainesville, Florida,  Arthur (Aleathia) Donley of Jacksonville, Florida, Willie (Velma) Donley of Folkston, Georgia, Lewis (Mary) Donley of Hilliard, Florida, Christine (William) Irick of Jacksonville, Florida, Ernestine Brown, Cheryl Donley of Jacksonville, Florida, Diane Donley, Barbara Donley of Hilliard, Florida; grandchildren, Shemika, Artella, Aaron, Adrian, Tron, Dedgrick, KeShawn, Von, Diante, Latren, Marcus, Chante, Nicole, Trina, Shavonte, Shavon, Santoria, Tiffany, Bertram Jr.; great-grandchildren, Micheal, Jerome, Jazlie, Christian, Angel, Aaron Jr., Adrian, Dee-Dee, Kamela, Rayne; siblings, Johnny Donley of Hilliard, Florida, Bernice Donley of Vero Beach, Florida; mother-in-law, Della Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Larry & Danny Mitchell; sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Donley of Sarasota, Florida, Shirley, Sharon, Alvita, Marva; devoted friends, Cooper Carr, Kelvin Terry, William Kinard, Jeremiah Canady; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life Service for Mr. James McCloud will be 11:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Hilliard, 15850 County Road #108, Hilliard Florida, Rev. James Lemon, Sr.,  Officiator.  Family will receive friends Friday 5 – 7 PM at Hisbon Baptist Chruch.  Interment at Hilliard Community Cemetery.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
