BRADLEY ~ Chandra Jana Bradley, known to all as someone who laughed, danced, had a smile that made your heart feel happy and most of all loved; as “Bird” was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, January 6th, 1976 to Helen C. Bradley. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida at the age of five years and attended First Baptist Church of Jacksonville along with her family where she also accepted Christ in her life.
Chandra attended Mattie V. Rutherford Elementary, Matthew Gilbert Middle School, Samuel W. Wolfson High School and Florida Community College at Jacksonville (FCCJ).
Growing up on the Eastside of Jacksonville, 1346 N Liberty St. (to be exact), she had her first and only daughter, Sha’Quria Bradley, June 9, 1997. Chandra lovingly worked in food services for over twenty years. Comedian would have been another profession, but Chandra only wanted to bring joyousness and happiness to everyone she loved dearly. Whether it be dancing, singing or just plain ol’ horseplay, she made sure she touched you in a way you would remember her loving and caring nature. She was a true diamond in the rough, who will be forever cherished and dearly missed.
Chandra’s memory will forever be cherished by her daughter, Sha’Quria Janell Bradley; parents, Helen (Benjamin) O’Neal; brothers, Christopher (Veronica) J. Sweet, Benjamin O. Bradley and Brian D. (Stephanie) O’Neal, Sr.; nephews Brian Jr., Kalani and Aubrey; nieces, Crystal, Christiana, Imone, Summer and Zarianna; loving partner, Samantha Marshall; a host of very loving uncles, aunties, cousins and many friends.
